Call for Articles: We're looking for engaging and critical blog posts within the general scope of European Union Law.

With the launch of our new blog, we welcome authors to submit their thoughts and critique on the topics that interest them.

With the launch of our new blog, we welcome authors to submit their thoughts and critique on the topics that interest them.

The Groningen Journal of European Law is happy to announce a new addition to the family: The GJEL Forum. The blog’s main aim is to provide an active discussion platform that gives EU law researchers the opportunity to interact and engage with eachother’s work in a conversational manner.

With that being said, in this first call-for-posts, we happily invite authors to submit their articles to the blog. Submissions should ideally be between 500 to 1500 words, this is however more an indicator rather than a restriction, as we accept longer posts too.

The tone of the blog is conversational, which means we appreciate posts that are both engaging and focused on interacting with the topic’s active discussion in the blog-o-sphere or social media. Referencing tweets and responding to posts of other blogs for this purpose is therefore welcomed and encouraged.

Submissions can be send to our editor at emma.schulte@gjel.org. Please refer to our submission guidelines for further information. The deadline for this first round of submissions is on 25 June 2021.
